Our notes

Nexus is an MTD for Income Tax portal for landlords whose properties are managed by a participating letting agent; it syncs rent, fees and expenses from the agent's accounting system so the landlord or their accountant can submit quarterly updates.

Pros

  • Income and expenses sync automatically from the letting agent's system
  • Joint ownership handled with ownership percentages
  • Landlords can invite their accountant to review and submit
  • Can add properties from several participating agents or not managed by an agent

Cons

  • Only available by invitation through a participating letting agent; no direct sign-up
  • Price not published; set during onboarding through the agent
  • Website mentions quarterly updates only, not the final declaration

Price

Prices can change without notice, so confirm with the provider before you buy. Spotted an error? Email us.

Notes
Pricing is 'presented to You during onboarding or otherwise agreed'; billing may be handled by the letting agent. FAQ says the monthly subscription includes transaction sync, expense categorisation, quarterly HMRC updates and support. A Landlord Studio blog post says an agent-enabled software route 'typically costs a landlord £10–£15 a month', which is a general figure, not a stated Nexus price.
